At Moonwake, we believe in the powers of plants & herbs. Studies have helped us understand the science behind the well being they bring to us. Natural ingredients are kind to us and to our surroundings. They are sustainable, renewable and do not cause bio accumulation. Every jar at our studio is a concoction of Natural ingredients that have been handcrafted using fresh produces. Our goal lies in not just providing you with a skin loving product but to give you a chance to kindle a connection with your skin; to help you feel joy and invoke a sense of tranquillity and respite through caring for your skin and giving it the attention it deserves.
While we are a brand with Natural products, at the same time, we do not want to denigrate other products which have undergone meticulous work and research as well. Every skin type is unique and what works for one may not work for someone else. We encourage everyone to educate themselves by going through the labels, knowing about the ingredients, their benefits & effects on the skin and arrive a decision about the product.

FROM THE EARTH, TO THE EARTH
By choosing unbleached brown paper packaging and paper tapes, we prioritize eco-consciousness. While it may not be as visually striking, this choice ensures that our packaging is biodegradable and compostable. Packaging often ends up discarded, so we want to make that when it is thrown away, it, at least turns back into soil. MEET THE FOUNDER
Moonwake was founded by Aakriti Jalan Dhanawat, inspired by her upbringing in North-East India, where self-care involved natural remedies like oil massages and ubtans. Her passion for colorful, fragrant skincare deepened after moving to Nepal, where she grew closer to nature. As she learned about harmful synthetic chemicals in skincare, her hobby evolved into a mission to create safe, eco-friendly products. She pursued a UK-based program in Natural Skincare and launched Moonwake to share her values of well-being and environmental care.
